I wanted to share my super-duper simple and thrifty tool that I use practically everyday that makes a decent cup of cappuccino-like coffee.
Okay, it’s not really cappuccino, but it’s definitely as I said, “cappuccino-like” and without the $4 price tag.
It will make a killer bulletproof coffee too if you’re into that sort of thing (I am). Have you heard about Bulletproof coffee?
#1 Make coffee
#2 Add some coconut oil or MCT oil and grassfed butter into the coffee. Optional extras: stevia, vanilla, dark chocolate
#3 Blend until it is frothy then enjoy.
Don’t be afraid of eating butter. If you are check out this video here.
But most people do all this in a blender, which is a very good idea to mix it up and make the frothy goodness, until now…
…enter my super awesome, super THRIFTY tool.
This is the IKEA milk frother. I’m in love.
With this handy tool, I put the cream (or coconut milk) in the cup first and whip it up a bit, add in the butter, oil and coffee and continue blending and frothing to my heart’s content.
It may not be the highest quality item you ever bought but for the price and functionality, you can buy two and have a back-up. My husband loves it too.
